inner child dreaming

Growing up in the midwest I frequented Joann Fabric store because I spent my teen and high school years obsessed with making and crafting; my favorite thing about fashion and inventing is anyone can apply their own interpretation to the same organic concept, and there is something inclusive and inspiring about that while still having space to be authentic. Plus the part that imagining is manifesting, and to think of an idea and then make it into something tangible is magical. The point of this story is I spent a lot of time in a part of my brain way back when I was a kid to a teen, and actually manifested a throughline, in my real actual life, written on my slate that is me, that I can’t not repeat even when I try. I presently work with factories in China and India and Taiwan to live out this dream. It’s so exciting to think maybe someone young out there, or someone old out there, is taking these pieces and making them into intentions just like I did when I was a little girl, and then passing it forward into something else. The Jewelry Made By Me product line includes charms, chains, beads, DIY kits, macrame, finished jewelry, and home decor categories like felt garland, ornaments, coasters and tabletop holiday styles, and too many other things to list. Living the dream also with buy groups including TJX/Home goods, Micheal’s, Hobby Lobby, Big Lots, Meijer, and more. The more I lean into this part of me the deeper connections to my hometown continue with this narrative, from 4H to my high school. So far this outlet is the one that embraces most the essence or youngest part of my roots.
